The technology within the 9-5 coupled with the fact that its Swedish means you’re guaranteed a safe car, something that is so important in today’s busy and inpatient world. Families will undoubtedly appreciate the 9-5 for its life saving abilities.
A comfortable ride and competent handling means this can be a relaxing motorway cruiser and still emit a bit of excitement when driving down country lanes. The diesel engines would be our pick, as you will be saving at the pumps but not compromised on power.
The Hot Aero variant would be a good choice for the motorist who still wants some poke in their saloon, but in reality, if you want to show off; there’s better ways to do it.
Overall, the Saab 9-5 is a safe, inconspicuous and roomy saloon, but whether that this enough in this ultra competitive market will be for the buyer to decide.
